Hikka Surf School is a local Hikkaduwa surf school founded by ocean lovers who grew up riding the legendary waves of Sri Lanka's southern coast. Our focus is simple: helping travelers enjoy the ocean safely, learn the genuine art of surfing, and discover our hometown through authentic local experiences.
Whether it is your very first time standing up on a surfboard in gentle white-water, improving your cutback on green waves, or snorkeling alongside gentle giant sea turtles on the Hikkaduwa reef, we treat every guest like family.
We believe in honest, grounded hospitality. All gear, rash guards, and safety briefings are provided, and all tours outside our direct school are coordinated transparently with respected local community partners.
Every coach at Hikka Surf School is a certified local ocean surfer who grew up on the southern reefs of Sri Lanka. We combine international ISA safety standards with warm Sri Lankan hospitality.
